The AV Energia group has begun construction of an Autonomous Gasification Unit (UAG) in the Sabroso de Aguiar Industrial Zone for Sonorgás, located in the parish of Bornes de Aguiar.

This project aims to strengthen the natural gas supply in the region, providing an efficient energy solution for local industries that do not have direct access to the gas pipeline network.

The new UAG will feature modern infrastructure for the storage and regasification of liquefied natural gas (LNG), allowing its safe distribution to industrial consumers. With this unit, Sonorgás and the AV Energia group expect to boost the development of the industrial zone, reducing energy costs and promoting more sustainable alternatives compared to traditional fuels.

Construction is expected to be completed in the coming months, ensuring a reliable and low-impact energy solution for businesses in the region.

This initiative is part of the expansion strategy of Sonorgás and AV Energia, which have been investing in the decentralization of natural gas supply to drive economic growth and energy transition in the country.
